Abstract

Culture is a concept that allows people to learn and get to know their own cultures and different cultures by being transferred from generation to generation due to its historical and continuous structure. The things left by the society to the next generations are considered as heritage, and the values that the previous generations created works with universal values and left to the next generations are also cultural heritages. Cultural heritages help people discover and recognize these values, and understand the lifestyle of people who reveal different cultural heritages. In order to access cultural heritage, people are provided to reach these values by carrying out cultural heritage tourism activities. With cultural heritage tourism, people have the chance to discover different cultures and cultural heritages in their original places and surroundings, to adopt and protect them as their own cultural heritage. For these reasons, cultural heritage tourism has an important place in tourism in terms of protecting cultural values and contributing to the country economically
